Insurance Representatives Meet With CSU International Students

The insurance information session was held from 3:30 p.m. to 5p.m. on Feb. 20, 2008 at the Office of International Programs in Laurel Hall. The session was to hear the concerns about health coverage and costs and answer questions from international students. Given the high cost of insurance and the 2008 plan that require all graduated school students to buy CSU’s insurance plan or equivalent insurance plan, the info session attracted a few international students.

We are glad to announce that our 2008 Chinese New Year Celebration will be on Feb 2nd, 2008 in the Lory Student Center Theater, Colorado State University - Fort Collins. Our performance will start from 7:00 pm on that day!

Tickets:
$3.00 for non-students
$2.00 for CSU students
$1.00 for kids above 6 who need seats
Free for kids below 6 (Your laps will be their seats )

Tickets Update information:
As of the afternoon of Feb 2nd, our e-tickets have been sold out. However, some regular tickets are available for purchase at the door of theater. Good luck!

Between 4:30pm - 7:00pm on February 2nd, 2008, please go to our reception desk in the hallway of Lory Student Center Theater (see the CSU Main Campus Map here). Ping WuTragedy strikes people every day in the world. We are sorry to see those who suffering from sicknesses and many other adversities.

We got the news from the CSSA (Chinese Students & Scholars Association) at University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA) that a Chinese girl has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML Type IV).

She is a recent graduate of UCLA who also served on the CSSA-UCLA Committee, a bright, blossoming young girl in her pursuit of happiness, celebrating life and trying to fulfill her dreams.

But her life took a tragic turn two days before this past Christmas: the doctors informed her that she has Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), type IV, an unanticipated diagnosis that would forever change her life, and the lives of many others. We are still in shock, in disbelief, and we would rather think all of this is just a bad dream...
