New(2006.07.03): Pickup opportunity
1. At Denver International Airport(DIA)Most of all, always remember if you have any question, you can ask any Airport Employee, they would be glad to help you.
After your flight arrive at Denver International Airport(DIA), you may go downstairs from Boarding Gate and take Ground Train. (Click here to see the map). The trains have two direction, like subways, from Concourse C -> Concourse B -> Concourse A -> Terminal(T) or T->A->B->C. You should take the former one and get off at Terminal.
After you get off the train at Terminal Station, you can go to the 5th level by elevator, where you can pick up your baggage. You can ask a labour to move your baggage from there to the bus station(not far, just outside), remember to pay him some tips, perhaps 3 dollars or so. If your baggages are not heavy or you are strong enough, you can also do it by yourself.
2. From Denver to CSUYou can come to CSU by two means: - Come here by yourself
- Ask some one to pick you up
If you come here in daylight, I prefer you come here by yourself. Two reason: - Picking up is not necessary. Coming here alone is much easier than you think.
- Picking up is gas-consuming and more important time-consuming. You need pay for those who pick you up.
Come to CSU by yourselfAfter you pick up your baggage from 5th level in the Terminal of Denver International Airport, go out to the bus station. The number 4 stop is to Fort Collins.
I suggest you take a "Shamrock Airport Express"(telphone:970-686-9999) shuttle to CSU. Perhaps you can tell the shuttles by the words "FT Collins" on the sides of them. Shamrock Shuttles run back and forth from Denver International Airport to CSU pretty frequently. And they are door-to-door, which means you can ask the driver drive you to your room. You need not worry about the baggages, because the driver will do all things. The total cost will be about 25 dollars plus a few dollars tips.
Here are some other choices you main select. (Comapany name & Telphone) | 1. BUS, INTERSTATE |
| Greyhound Bus | 800-231-2222 | | 2. COMMUTER |
| Airport Express | 303-772-5466 |
| Colorado Express Airport Shuttle | 303-591-6122 |
| Dashabout Shuttle | 800-720-3274 970-345-6613 |
| Front Range Express | 720-436-6589 |
| Shamrock Shuttle | 970-686-9999 | | 3. MOUNTAIN CARRIER |
| Best Mountain Tours | 303-750-5200 | You can also get this info from http://www.flydenver.com/gt/index.asp, by "Choose Your Colorado Destination" "Fort Collins" then press "Go". If what you take is not door-to-door, ask the driver drive you to CSU (or Holiday Inn if your apartment will be in Aggie Village). Then call your future roommate or CSUCSSA committee members to offer you a local ride. Personal PickupCSUCSSA don't suggest this way. But if you really need some one to pick you up from airport, you can - Ask your future roommate, or
- Ask CSUCSSA by

In either way, be sure tell him/her - When will your flight arrive
- EXACTLY Where and When to pick you up
- How to recognize each other
And be aware that you need to pay him/her $20 for gas, parking and time. 3. Important Notice- 1. Always keep with you the contact phone numbers, including your future roommate, your department, CSUCSSA committee members. Be sure don't put them in your baggages.
- 2. If you ask some one to pick you up, be sure to make a good protocol.
- 3. If any one know when you will come but you can't come at that time because you change your schedule or your flight is delayed, be sure to notify him/her. Although we don't know each other yet, you are one of us, we will worry about you.
If you still have some question, email to CSUCSSA by
